Kings Landscapes tendered to carry out the hard and soft landscaping work at Royal Wharf site. They were successful in winning the contract and prior to any works commencing they worked alongside our landscape architects to develop the design.
Kings have worked closely with us during the contract and have been proactive in all the facets of the build, including attendance at all site Health and Safety meetings. They have continued to look at ways to improve the safety of their operatives whilst on site including using the latest equipment and processes available.
All Kings staff have been extremely helpful an were always proactive in their roles and this has been backed up by senior management and the Managing Director David Houghton attending site regularly and being hands on. All office based staff have offered speedy responses to any queries that have arose throughout the project.
I would have no qualms in recommending Kings Landscapes to anyone for landscaping. All work has been carried out to a high standard and a great level of professionalism shown throughout that gives me great confidence in recommending Kings Landscapes.
So far we have received nothing but positive and pleasurable feedback from all our senior management and all visitors to the site have all highlighted the high standard of landscaping on the project.
I would highly recommend them and can confirm that Kings Landscapes will be one of the first landscape contractors we shall contact on future up and coming projects.
Kings have been working on our garden since January 2011 transforming a bland 2 acre plot into a garden of great beauty. They have impressed us with their eco friendly attitude to landscape redevelopment & the diverse nature of the wildlife, currently found in the garden, is a testament to their approach.
The garden redesign ran concurrently with the demolition & rebuild of the house at the centre of the site & Kings handled the challenges of such a project magnificently. They showed great flexibility in their efforts to keep in step with the house build rate. They worked extremely professionally with the site developers & maintained a very pleasant atmosphere on site. The quality of their work has been superb & they are perfectionists especially keen on tree alignment. Kings have demonstrated an excellent working relationship with the garden design team, responding rapidly to any modifications required throughout the project. They reacted quickly to unexpected emergencies and maintained a respectful approach with all the neighbours, even the eccentric ones! David Houghton, Managing Director, was often spotted in the garden keeping appraised of current events & this attention from Head Office was very reassuring.
Customer care has always been at the forefront of King’s service. They continued to work on site, once we’d moved back into the property, & were very concerned to ensure we had a mud free access to the house. The team behaved like perfect gentlemen ; ensuring all visitors were able to navigate obstacles & carrying heavy shopping if close parking to the house was impossible. They rose magnificently to the challenge of paving a 100ft driveway with tradesmen continuing to visit the house. The team appeared on site come rain or shine & I shall be forever grateful to them for digging me out of the snow over the winter period.

The brief was to produce an idyllic area set within the blocks of apartments as an escape from the surroundings of London; introducing paved areas surrounded by water features, box hedges and mixed planting.

Kings Completed the soft landscaping package for Skanska in Ipswich, Transport for the 21st Century last year. Kings with their hands on approach with quick office response was a very effective way for our client to choose the best options to keep the project moving in there tight programme. Kings onsite management had experience and knowledge to make sure the soft landscaping was kept to good horticulture practice for planting and maintenance throughout the summer months even in dry weather.
